From the Geometric period, ca. 8th century BC (or a bit later). Hemispherical bowl with gently fluted sides, stepped shoulder and two handles, black glazed interior with four lines on the reserved vertical rim, bands around the exterior rim, the body decorated with vertical lines. 2-3/4"H x 5-1/2" handlespan, areas of rim restored.
