From ancient Greece, Corinth, ca. 700 - 600 BC. Terracotta pottery oil flask in a longer, elongated form (a variation of the more typical squatty/bulbous rounded forms). Painted with dark brown sunrays atop and on neck, then striding lions/panthers in bottom two bands. Stand available - email for cost/details. 2-5/8"H, chip to rim and minor surface wear, as shown.
