^Lot 96 A Song Dynasty Chestnut Glaze Jar with Braided Handles

China Ca. 12nd century AD. Lovely form in with incised stipple decoration with fine braid handles, a chestnut glaze on upper half with natural red clay body on the lower. Vase sits upon three feet with heat crack to underside, otherwise fine condition. 5"H x 10 1/5"D.
