^Lot 167 Sioux Fully Beaded Saddle

Fabulous fully beaded Northern Plains saddle. ca1910, beaded throughout the seat and horn with a bright attractive pattern, Loomed beadwork on the stirrup leathers is old but most likely a later addition to the piece. Three unique trade mirrors with Calumet baking powder advertising attached to the back of the cantle. Unusual red stars on horn cap and along the body of the piece. Came from the Sioux reservation to a collection in Hot Springs, SD. Fine condition.
