Marajo Island, Para Brazil, Ca. 500 to 800 AD A shallow ritual bowl having two opposing heads on the rim. The fine head of a pig opposite a human head upon a birds head. Finely incised linear decoration on the underside. A few traces of red surface pigment, strong mineral deposits. 4-1/2” D, intact.
