^Lot 44a A Greek Pottery Oinochoe / Lagynos

From the Geometric period, ca. 8th century BC. Flat-bottomed pouring vessel decorated in brown slip with trefoil mouth; handle and neck adorned with horizontal bands, the shoulders with chevrons, the body decorated with horizontal bands. 4-1/4"H x 4-1/2"D at base, intact sime minor chipping and pigment loss, as shown.
