Lot 143 A Framed Proto Nazca Tie-Dyed Textile Panel

A very bright and vibrant tie-dyed textile fragment dating before the emergence of the Nazca in southern Peru, ca 100 BC - 100 AD. Of dyed cotton fibers in gold over red in near-rectangular pattern. this process was created using the same tie-dyed techniques that were popular in the late 1960's. Textile itself measures 6-1/2" x 9"L. Professionally cleaned and restored, then custom-framed and ready to hang - stunning!
