^Lot 160 A Makua Carved Wood Face Mask

From SE Tanzania, Mid 20th Century. Abstractly carved in wood with smooth naturalistic features, drilled pupils and applied hair moustache. 11-1/4” H, complete with custom mount. Excellent age and signs of use. Cracks and damages repaired. Nice patina and immpressive in person!
