Lot 181 Tom and Jerry / The Cat Concerto original hand-painted publicity cel set up
(Hanna-Barbera Studios, 1975) This extremely rare original hand-painted and airbrushed cel features Jerry the mouse sleeping on the keys of the grand piano. This set up was recreated from the MGM’s 1946 Academy Award-Winning “Best Short Subject”, The Cat Concerto. Signed by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera, the creators of Tom and Jerry. This classic and memorable image measures 10 ½ in x 12 ½ in.
