Lot 594 Original production cel and studio prepared art props background from Pinocchio
(Walt Disney Studios, 1940) Original production cel of Jiminy Cricket from Pinocchio. The cel was trimmed to image at the studio and placed on custom hand-painted background made in the art props department at the studio, most likely for presentation or publicity. The background measures 7 ½ in. x 9 ½ in. and has an arts prop department stamp on the reverse. Jiminy Cricket measures 4 ½ in. x 3 ½ in.
