Lot 637 Four studio photostat model sheets from Fantasia
(Walt Disney Studios, 1939/1940) Four early studio model sheets for the “Night On Bald Mountain” sequence of Fantasia. Titled “Bare Mountain” at the time, the sequence eventually became “Night On Bald Mountain” and was the final climax of the feature. Printed on Photographic paper at the studio at the time of production, these model sheets were passed out among the key animators to ensure that styles and characters were kept consistent. Each sheet measures 11 in. x 14 ½ in.
