Lot 806 Original production cel, production drawing and production background from Sleeping Beauty
(Walt Disney Studios, 1959) Original production cel of Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. The cel of Maleficent has been trimmed to image, placed on a new cel and placed on a portion of an original hand-painted background. The cel and background have been matted with a Marc Davis signed original production drawing, and a portion of a mat signed by Eyvind Earle. The original background measures 9 ½ in. x 10 ½ in. The image of Maleficent on cel measures 6 in. x 7 ½ in. The image of Maleficent in the drawing measures 6 ½ in. x 6 in.
