^Lot 75 1923-S Peace Silver Dollar MS-66 w/Appraisal

Vast numbers of this early San Francisco Mint Peace dollar issue were lost in government melts of World War II. Today a silver dollar encyclopedia estimates that as few as 0.2% (one in 500) of the original 1923-S production may exist today in MS quality. Yet the 1923-S Peace dollar is reasonably affordable because a good number survived in circulated grades. Nice original luster and no sign of wear. Includes Appraisal Certificatey!!
