Lot 154b A Nazca Polychrome Face Vessel
Pre-Columbian, from Southern Peru, Ca 200 to 400 AD. Nice example of the Nazca pottery skills! Tall kero in the form of a human face - decorated in typical Nazca pigments of brown, red and tan. Nose in relief and it is apparent this example does not depict a trophy head as the mouth has not been sewn shut. 5-3/4"H, intact/excellent!
