ALS, one page, 5 x 8, Hotel Victoria letterhead, December 10, 1889. Letter to “Sir Robert.” In part: “Permit me to thank you very heartily for your kindness in delivering the photograph of the children of Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Albany, also her Royal Highness’ autograph. I prize both very highly and am much gratified that the Duchess of Albany and her children enjoyed the show so much.” Cloth matted and framed with a portrait of Barnum and Tom Thumb to an overall size of 17 x 14. In fine condition, with a central horizontal fold and a mild shade of overall toning from previous display.
