Union general (1827–1905) who became better known as the author of the best-selling religio-historical novel Ben-Hur. Ink signature, “With all good wishes, your friend, Lew Wallace, Crawfordsville, Ind., June 10th, 1902,” on an off-white 5.75 x 8.25 album page. In fine condition, with scattered soiling, small edge tear, and a pencil notation to top right.
