Gorky Moscow Arts Theater of the Union of SSR and according to the Regulations on the Seagull Badge, approved by the Central Executive Committee of the USSR,-I am asking you, for myself and on Konstantin Sergeyevich’s behalf, to accept the attached token as an expression of gratitude for your valuable 17-year work for the benefit of the Theater, which is so close and dear to all of us.” Boldly signed at the bottom by Stanislavsky and Vl. Nemirovich-Danchenko. In very good to fine condition, with two small tears to the uneven right edge, one affecting the end of Nemirovich-Danchenko’s signature, and a few small creases.
