Austrian actor (1907-2005) best remembered for playing General Burkhalter on the sitcom Hogan’s Heroes. Glossy 8 x 10 photo of Askin as the Bishop in Guns of San Sebastian, signed and inscribed in blue felt tip “To Fred, Best wishes, Leon Askin, August 1982.” In fine condition, with a few mild creases and light show-through from caption on reverse.
