Animal trainer and circus impresario (1903–1965) who appeared in several big-game-themed films in the 1930s-1950s. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 Universal promotional photo for The Big Cage, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Eddie, Sincerely, Clyde Beatty.” In very good condition, with scattered creases and surface impressions to facial area, some slight surface loss at corner tips, and a bit of light silvering.
