^Lot 1479 Ted Williams

Personal check, 6 x 2.5, filled out and signed by Williams, “Theodore Williams,” payable to Cash for $1000.00, January 23, 1991. Williams endorsed the check on the reverse in the same manner. In fine condition, with cancellation printing through signature on front, cancellation printing slightly affecting first name of endorsement signature on reverse, small pencil notation in upper right, and two trivial staple holes in the upper left border. An incredibly rare dual-signed ‘full first name’ check from the Splendid Splinter. Originates from the Williams family estate and is accompanied by a letter of provenance signed by his daughter.
