This is a rounded lead bottle, with neck that was designed to hold a cork. This bottle we believe was used to contain caustic liquids, and was probably in a laboratory or manufacturing shop. It is very heavy, and measures 4 x 6 inches. It has a slightly faceted surface, and slight nicks around the lip of the opening. Overall it is in very good condition. * This unusual item would be great in a collection of old bottles, or scientific apparatus.
