DANCES WITH WOLVES. - (Tig Productions, 1990) Kevin Costner found life among the Plains Indians more satisfying than being cavalry “Lieutenant John Dunbar” in Dances with Wolves. The costume consists of a blue cotton bib shirt with brass buttons, gray wool breeches, black leather boots, spurs, belt, holster and suspenders. A label for “Western Costume Co. Hollywood, CA” is sewn into the shirt with “2949-I, Kevin Costner, Chest 40, Sleeve 34 and Collar 15 ½” typed on the label. There is also an ink stamp and label for “Western Costume Co. Hollywood, CA” in the pants as well with “Kevin Costner” typed on the label. Inside boots
“WCC” is stamped along with “Costner #2” written in black. All items in excellent condition. This fi lm received 12 Academy Award nominations including Best Costume Design.
