PRODUCTION CLAPPERBOARD FROM WILLY WONKA & THE
CHOCOLATE FACTORY - (Paramount, 1971) Original wooden clapperboard from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Measuring approx. 14 ¼ in. x 12 in., at the top is a cardboard label reading, “Wolper Pictures Ltd 2101 WILLI WONKA [sic] Director: M. Stuart Camera: A. Ibbetson Souund [sic]: K. Ulrich.” Beneath is the chalkboard “slate” used for designating and marking particular scenes and takes in chalk (vestiges of the original white chalk still
present). The hinged clapstick is present on the bottom with the signature black & white interleaved diagonal lines. From the collection of Robert Newman, Location and Financial Advisor for Wolper Pictures, Ltd.
