KRYPTONITE CRYSTAL FROM SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE. - (Warner Bros., 1978) This is the spectacular screen-used Kryptonite crystal prominently seen in the beginning of Superman: The Movie. In the movie, Jor-El (played by Marlon Brando) plucks the mythical green crystal from a nest of hollow crystals and places it in the infant Kal-El’s (baby Superman) pod before jettisoning his son away from danger, into space and ultimately to the safety of Earth. This 9 ½ in. long crystal is cast of clear, emerald-green resin. This iconic piece of Superman lore comes with it’s own foam fitted anvil carrying case with attached engraved metal plaque, which reads, “Original Kryptonite
