HUGH JACKMAN “WOLVERINE” HERO CLAWS FROM X2: X-MEN UNITED. - (TCF, 2003) This is a paired set of Wolverine hero claws worn
by Hugh Jackman in the second X-Men fi lm of the trilogy – X2: X-Men United. The only hero set released by the studio, this pair is comprised
of padded grips with studio writing, curved metal and internal supports, and hard plastic/resin blades. These are the most detailed version of the
claws produced (as opposed to rubber bladed stunt claws), with great attention to detail for use in close-up and non-stunt shots. The claws have
become the most recognizable of all props and costumes from the three X-Men fi lms, and are the iconic representation of the most popular X-Men
character from both the fi lm and comic books: Wolverine. The claws are now synonymous with the fi lms, appearing on marketing collateral, onesheet
posters, and other promotional material. Many argue that Wolverine is the only superhero created within the last 35 years to have reached
the same status as classic heroes of the 1930s, 40s, and 50s such as Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man. The claws, when worn, give the illusion that
