LIAM NEESON STUNT LIGHTSABER USED AS “QUI-GON JINN” IN STAR WARS: EPISODE I - THE PHANTOM MENACE - (TCG, 1999) This beautifully-crafted resin lightsaber hilt is hand-painted in black with silver accents, and a central red static
“switch,” used by Neeson in character for his thrilling lightsaber duels throughout the fi lm. The top of the lightsaber still retains 3/8 in. of the original 6 in. rigging rod upon which the 37 ½ in. painted aluminum rod was secured for fi lming the fi ght sequences. Measures approx. 11 ¼ in. long. Comes with a letter of provenance form the collector who originally purchased the piece from a crew technician who acquired the piece after the stunt blade broke off during fi lming and could no longer be used.
