The top of the lightsaber still retains 3/8 in. of the original 6 in. rigging rod upon which the 37 ½ in. painted aluminum rod was secured for fi lming the fi ght sequences. Measures approx. 11 ¼ in. long. Comes with a letter of provenance form the collector who originally purchased the piece from a crew technician who acquired the piece after the stunt blade broke off during fi lming and could no longer be used.
