COMPLETE MARS ATTACKS TRADING CARD SET W/1 WRAPPER AND ORDER FORM - (TOPPS, 1962) This is a complete, mint, 55-card set of Bubbles, Inc. (aka TOPPS) Mars Attacks trading cards, a wax-pack wrapper and a onesheet advertising sheet. Few “monster cards” are more in demand than Mars Attacks, which tell a tale of Earth’s invasion by bloodthirsty Aliens. When TOPPS released this set in 1962, they used their alternate brand name “Bubbles, Inc.” in anticipation of strong reaction to the graphic content of the cards. But, while parents may have objected to the elevated blood and violence factor, kids ate it up! Today, a complete set of these cards is extremely rare to fi nd. Tim Burton’s 1996 movie version of Mars Attacks further enhanced the pedigree of the brand and introduced it to a whole new generation.
