Title: The Street Theatre
Technique: Original Signed Gouache and Charcoal painting inside a hand painted round passepartout
Size: 19 x 24.5 cm / 7.5 x 9.7 in
Additional Information: This work by the costume and stage theatre designer Charles Betout is hand signed 3 times. It is signed on the painting itself, again on the supporting board, and last on the passepartout (matting).
The work was painted on paper taht was then laid on a supporting board.
The artist have created a special round matting out of paper to cover the work and then hand painted on it (in watercolor and pencil) some decorative motifs.
Condition: The painting itself in in good condition, however there is some damage to the matting (small cuts, folds and missing pieces).
