^Lot 389 Brass Cowboy Belt Buckle

3 ¾”, brass with a nicely detailed saddle design on the front, belt width 1 7/8”. It’s a heavy buckle, it has 1964 on it, but copyrighted in 1980? Maybe the 1964 is a model number. Whatever...It’s a really neat unusual buckle. From the collection of Good Time Charlie Cartwright, legendary tattoo artist famous for black and grey tattoo artistry. Charlie admired the American Indian and collected the image of American Indians and Western hero’s for 40 years. The collection has more ‘Indian Kitsch’ than ‘Route 66’ in the 1950’s.
