Classic old western oil-on-board painting by David Levy, dated 1867. Image measures 6" x 10.25". David Levy was born in England in 1848 and moved to San Francisco in his younger years. He was listed in the San Francisco directory as an "Ornamental Painter." The heavy wooden frame measures 17" x 13" and is 1.5" thick. This painting was originally from a gallery in New York City.
