Lot 309 Gold Rush Era Gun Equipment General Americana
Group of three copper and brass powder flasks from the circa 1820-1850 period, and two more crude powder flasks and a brass lead ball mould (32 caliber?). The flasks are: a) Remington with birds and dog, b) Sheffield (unmarked) with plain flask, c) Sykes Patent (British). The bullet mould has “21” punched into one handle. All of these could tell stories about where they have been, if they could only talk. - Jacobitz Collection
