Lot 958 Arizona Native Copper Specimen AZ - Bisbee,Cochise County - Mineral Specimens
7" x 6.5" x 2.5" native copper specimen from the Campbell Shaft in the Warren District, Mule Mountains, Cochise County, Bisbee, Arizona. The Warren mining district by far has been the most productive in Cochise County. The first shipment of copper matte from the district was in 1878. Up through 1970, the Warren mining district produced about 151 million tons of base and precious metal ore, including 3.8 million tons of copper.
