^Lot 1026 Cutlass Handle Candlestick - , - - Mining Hard goods/Important Mining Publications

This unique fancy model measures 14.25” and is made out of one piece of steel. Could have been a mine manager’s or superintendant`s candlestick. The thimble has been decorated with a variety of different shaped cutouts; including a tulip like and star shaped cutouts. The thumb lever appears to represent the handle of a cutlass.
