Lot 1036 Kindelan Patent Candlestick c1880 - Mining Hard goods/Important Mining Publications
Split thimble model, measures 11” and made out of steel. This stick appears to be another example of the Kindelan patent. Many other examples lack a hook, while this one lacks a thumb lever. Lengths commonly run 12" to 14;" none bear stamping. W 93. RSC 46. - Ken & Rosemary Roberts Collection
