Lot of 4: 1) wooden box 7.5" x 3.5" x 1", contains fold-up metal scale with cord-suspended round brass trays, 2.5" dia. A small compartment in the lower right corner contains 4 brass weights of descending size. 2) metal box 8" x 3.5" x 1.5", contains all-brass folding scale with fine chain-suspended round rolled edge trays, 3" dia. In the lower right corner is a fixed wooden container for 3 large brass weights, and a pivoting round brass covered compartment for smaller weights of descending sizes. There is a small wooden container with 2 fluted square glass vials, approx. 2.75" long with glass stoppers. 3) wooden box 7.5" x 4" x 1.5", "TRIUMPH" Scale Co. indicated inside lid. Contains all brass chain-suspended rolled edge trays, 3" dia. Scale beam features adjustable balance weight. Box upper right corner contains wood block with 7 brass weights of descending size, plus smaller graduated aluminum discs for finer measurements. Complete and in excellent condition. 4) pivoting wooden paddle with unusual scale inside. 12.25". Brass suspended tray with pivot attached to a delicate ivory rod with multiple string pivot points for variable weight scales, coinciding with the various scale graduations on ivory rod. - Maish Collection
