^Lot 1066 Pack Saddle c1900 - Mining Hard goods/Important Mining Publications

Old pack saddle that appears to be from the mid to late 19th century. Piece measures 20" x 13" x 23". The size suggests the saddle was meant for a horse or mule. Several old leather straps and partial straps are connected to the oak saddle tree. There is a canvas cinch and girth still in place toward the front of the saddle. The other cinch is missing. There is no makers mark or region indication. This is a great display piece of old Americana. - Jacobitz Collection
