Lot 1228 Dairy Bottle Group NV - Reno,Washoe County - c1910-1920 - Nevada Bottles

Lot of 4: 1) A bottle embossed “One Pint” above the embossed slug plate: “Crescent.” No maker’s mark on bottom. Clear glass, excellent condition. This bottle is considered common. 2) A 1/4 pint bottle with a ribbed neck and “1/4 Pint” embossed on the front above the “ Reno/ Model/ Dairy Inc” embossed slug. “M” embossed maker’s mark on bottom. This bottle is considered rare. 3) One bottle, embossed "One Quart/ Liquid" over the embossed "Nevada/ Creamery" slug plate. "S" embossed maker's mark on bottom. Clear glass, excellent condition. This bottle is considered extremely rare, with only 1 or 2 known specimens [Ref: Nevada History Through Glass, Vol 1, Fred Holabird, 2012, p. 270]. 4) One bottle, embossed "One Quart/ Liquid" over the embossed "Nevada/ Creamery" slug plate. "N" embossed maker's mark on bottom. Raised spotted pattern around neck. Clear glass, some interior staining. This bottle is considered extremely rare, with only 1 or 2 known specimens [Ref: Nevada History Through Glass, Vol 1, Fred Holabird, 2012, p. 270]. - Jacobitz Collection
