Lot 1399 Carson City Mint Display NV - Carson City,Numismatic
Wonderful presentation of our Carson City Mint, in a 26 x 17 1/2" frame done by Great Basin Gallery and Frame in Carson. A matted 9 x 7 1/2" photograph of the mint building is captioned with a history of the U.S. Branch Mint. On the left is an uncertified GSA 1882-CC Morgan Dollar, with minimal bag marks, MS63+ in our estimation. On the right is an 1878-CC Morgan in a Capitol Plastics holder in the shape of the Silver State. A beautiful addition to den or library, this historical memento belongs in Nevada.
