Lot 1507 Salinas Bottle and Token Group CA - Salinas,Monterey County - 1895 - Saloon

Lot of 7: 1) C. TYNAN J.H. CUTTER WHISKEY SALINAS, CAL. on this pint size, clear glass shoo-fly pocket flask. Footed base has some minor chipping, top is screw type with un-ground spout. Vent holes in shoulders. 2) THOLCKE & LAPIERRE 165-167 MAINE ST. SALINAS. This sun-colored picnic is vented on the back, a footed base and a single collar un-ground top. 3-6) Two "Good for 5 cents in trade" Good for 25 cents in trade" and a "Good for 10 cents in trade." All from C. Tynan. 7) An ad token from Tholcke & LaPierre. Tholcke owned or ran several saloons in Salinas, starting back in 1880, before he became partners with G. LaPierre in a liquor and grocery store around 1895. Tokens are in very good to mint condition. - Feisel Collection
