^Lot 86 History Channel 'Conquest' Shield

A medieval era shield used in theatrical productions in England and on the History Channel series 'Conquest' (2002-2005). The series re-enacted fights between different warriors from various eras to see who would hypothetically win in battle. The heavy circular shield is made from thick plywood with numerous steel rivets affixed to the face. It has a black felt backing with a pair of leather arm straps attached with bolts. Comes with a steel spike that fastens to a brass holder on front of shield. (measures approx. 23" tall). Oversized item. Additional postage required.
