Colt Pre-Series 70 Lightweight Commander Semi-Automatic Pistol, #53757-LW, .45 ACP cal., 4-1/4" barrel, blue finish, black alloy frame, replacement matte stainless mainspring housing, checkered hardwood grips with gold Colt medallions, standard blade front and square-notched rear sights. Front sight with red paint. Includes one blued steel Colt magazine. Mfg'd 1968. Condition is very good+ retaining approx. 95% factory finishes; slide shows mild plum colored toning. Metal with some light edgewear and general light handling marks. Wear to the front grip strap accounts for much of the finish loss. Factory lettering is clear. Grips are excellent with sharp checkering. Action is tight and operates smoothly. Bore is very good, bright, with well-defined rifling. Est.: $1,200-$1,500. (C&R/PPT)
