Winchester Model 88 Lever Action Rifle, #147275A, .243 Win. cal., 22" barrel, hooded ramped blade with steel bead front and folding rear sights, blue finish, checkered walnut one-piece pistol grip stock with sling swivels and a checkered plastic buttplate, with 4-rd. detachable box magazine. Mfg'd 1963. Rifle is in near excellent overall condition retaining approx. 96%-98% factory finish, showing light handling marks only. Receiver is factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting and for an aperture sight. There are crisp Winchester "WP" proof marks on the barrel and front ring. Checkered walnut stock is very good + with small mars and handling marks. A checkered plastic buttplate provides a 13-7/8" LOP. Action is crisp, bore is very good. Est.: $800-$1,200. (C&R)
