Shilen Model DGA Single Shot Bolt Action Rifle, with Leupold Scope, #424, 24" heavy stainless barrel is unmarked but consignor states that the caliber is .17 Rem., with blue receiver. One-piece pistol grip walnut stock with brown rubber Pachmayr Whiteline recoil pad. Barrel mfg'd without sights. Rifle does not have a safety, with matching numbered bolt. Trigger pull is 10 oz.; 12.75" LOP; overall weight with scope is approx. 12 lbs. 2 ozs. Topped with a Leupold 24x scope. Scope has a gloss-black finish, fine crosshair with tiny center dot reticle, and target turrets. Metal surfaces rate in excellent condition. Receiver retains approx. 98%-99% blue. Barrel has a small amount of light handling marks. Trigger guard shows minor edgewear. Stock is good with general small dents and scratches. There was a chip at the heel that has been repaired. Action is crisp and operates smoothly, bore is bright with sharp rifling. There are a few minor blemishes visible on the outside of the scope, optics are bright and clear. Est.: $1,000-$1,500.
