(.30-30) cal., 26" octagonal barrel has standard markings incl. caliber at breech, tall bead/blade front sight, sliding adjustable rear (marked "Pat. Feb. 5, 1901"); receiver has "Marbles Arms" windage/elevation peep tang sight. Oil-finished walnut forearm with steel nosecap, matching buttstock a crescent buttplate. Mfg'd 1907. Condition is near excellent retaining approx. 90% smooth barrel and mag blue, 70% thinning receiver blue, gray buttplate, sharp edges and markings. Stocks are sound and smooth having light dings (moderate at right butt). Tang sight is modern. Action is crisp, bright bore shows light frosting, deep and sharp rifling. Est.: $1,800-$2,400. (C&R)
