Colt Series 70 Lightweight Commander Semi-Automatic Pistol, #CLW038418, .45 ACP cal., 4-1/4" barrel, blue finish, alloy frame, checkered walnut grips with gold Colt medallions, standard blade front and square-notched rear sights. Includes one blued steel Colt magazine. Mfg'd 1978. Condition is very good retaining approx. 90% factory blue. Metal finish shows general light edgewear and handling marks. Blemishes to the front and back strap account for much of the finish loss. Factory lettering is clear. Right grip shows moderate handling wear. Checkering detail on the left grip is primarily crisp, medallion is bright. Action operates smoothly. Bore is good, bright, rifling shows moderate wear but is still clearly defined.
