Excellent Colt Pre-Series 70 Gold Cup National Match Semi-Automatic Pistol, with Box, #24870NM, .45 ACP cal., 5" barrel, blue finish, checkered walnut grips with gold Colt medallions, blade front sight and square-notched fully adjustable Elliason rear sight, with one blued steel Colt magazine. Mfg'd 1967. In an original two-piece box with matching numbered test target, Gold Cup pamphlet, and warranty card. Box comes with a hand-numbered cardboard sleeve. Condition is excellent, appearing near new and retaining approx. 98% factory metal finish. There are a few light marks to the lower right side of the frame and slide. Grip checkering is sharp, gold Colt medallions are bright. Smooth action; bore is excellent, bright with well-defined rifling. Possibly unfired after leaving the factory. Box is very good with clear graphics. One of the corners is creased and damaged a little, otherwise showing typical light storage type wear. Est.: $2,000-$2,500. (C&R/PPT)
