^Lot 302 H& amp;R M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle

H&R M1 Garand CMP Correct Grade Semi-Automatic Rifle, #5589399, .30-06 cal., 24" barrel, parkerized finish, walnut stock set, blade front sight with protectors and adjustable aperture rear sight. Marked on receiver tang "U.S.RIFLE CAL..30 M1 H.&R. ARMS CO."; on right side barrel "HRA" and "3-55". There is a U.S. Defense Dept. eagle cartouche on the left side of the stock forend, and a "(circle)/P" firing proof on the underside of the wrist. Includes a very good condition CMP "M1 Garand Correct Grade" Certificate of Authenticity and a good condition CMP shipping box. The bolt, trigger housing, hammer, and operating rod are all marked "HRA". Condition overall is very good with the metal retaining approx. 90% finish, with what appears to be chemical stains that have removed areas of finish on the exposed barrel. Wood is very good with light handling marks to the dark finish. Action operates smoothly; bore has darkening in the grooves, otherwise good with good rifling. No visible import marks.
