Ornate Knights of Pythias Fraternal Sword, with gold washed fittings and scabbard, knight's head pommel, fancy cross guard with king's head in center panels, decorated bone grip, etched decorated blade, with gold wash featuring floral designs and knights on horseback, mfg'd by the Pettibone Bros. Mfg. Co. in Cincinnati Ohio. Decorated scabbard with knight, crown, red enamel crosses, monogram letters, and decorative drag. Blade has etched name to "Wm. H. Schroeffel". Condition is very good showing light age and wear to the sword fittings, a few tight hairlines on the grip, light age and minor edge nicks to the blade. Original leather blade washer is present, with light age, minor scratches and wear, and a few small dings to the scabbard. Blade length is 30", OAL is 39". Est.: $150-$200.
