Lot 365 Remington Model 1900 KED Side-by-Side Hammerless Shotgun

Remington Model 1900 KED Side-by-Side Hammerless Shotgun, #310543. 12 ga. 30" solid rib Damascus barrels have 2-5/8" chambers and are choked IM/IM. The boxlock action features lockup via a single underlug plus top extension, double triggers, automatic safety, and auto ejectors; receiver is unengraved except for maker's stamp. The splinter forend and Prince of Wales round-knob buttstock are oil-finished red straight-grain walnut, uncheckered, with a Remington plastic buttplate. Mfg'd approx. 1904. Condition is good to very good, showing much field use. There is approx. 50%-60% finish remaining on the barrels, only dark patina to the receiver, and little wear at all to the wood, which appear to be replacements. Action is a bit sticky but closes tight and functions correctly; bores are lightly scored but not pitted. Est.: $500-$700. (C&R)
