A. Francotte Single Barrel Trap Gun, #62988. 12 ga. 32.25" (82cm) half-octagon half-round barrel has a concave tapered vent rib with target beads, 3" chamber, and is choked Full. The boxlock action uses a double underlug lockup, single trigger, no safety, and plain extractor. The receiver is unengraved, except for the maker's name and location. The flat beavertail forend and English straight-grip buttstock are of high-grade European walnut, uncheckered, with a right-hand cheekpiece and checkered butt. Mfg'd in the 1920's-30's, based upon importer Von Lengerke & Detmold. Condition is still very good, as action locks tight and appears to function correctly; bore is bright. Est.: $400-$600. (C&R)
